AVEO is developing a pipeline of targeted therapies which address major unmet medical needs in the field of oncology. The company recently completed a Phase 2 clinical trial of its lead product tivozanib (AV-951) in patients with metatastic renal cell cancer, and is expected to enter a global Phase 3 clinical trial later in 2009.
